She was predeceased by: her parents, Dionicio Alafa and Filomena Alafa (Flores); her husband Juan J. Hinojosa; and her siblings, Francisco, Baldemar, Jose, Dionicio, Hector, Alveza Hernandez and Maria Alvarado.

She is survived by: her children, Jose A. Hinojosa (Michela) of Lima, Armando Hinojosa (Cheryl) of Defiance, Anabel Arreguin (David) of Hamler and Alice Perry (Doug) of Delta, CO; and her siblings, Maricela Tobias, Emma Kindle and Guadalupe Alafa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (318 State St, Leipsic, OH 45856). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Mary's Church, Leipsic.
