March 1, 1942— March 10, 2026
Saint Francis, MN
Craig Thomas Masteller of Saint Francis, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2026. Born on March 1, 1942 in Red Wing, Minnesota to Marvin and Marion Masteller, Craig graduated from Southwest High School in Minneapolis in 1960. He then served four years in the Navy aboard the missile cruiser USS Canberra.
In 1965, Craig married the love of his life, Roseann Cain. The couple raised their family in Richfield before retiring to Saint Francis. For more than thirty years, Craig worked as a quality control specialist for Electric Machinery and Physical Electronics. He was deeply involved in scouting, earning the Vigil Honor in the national honor society for his cheerful service. Craig cherished the outdoors, especially fishing whenever possible and golfing with family and friends. He found great joy in Minnesota’s North Shore and at Many Point Scout Camp, where he loved listening to the waves, working on puzzles, or completing crosswords.
Known for his warm sense of humor and his ability to light up any room, Craig never missed a chance to share a good story or a funny joke. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of family, and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
Craig is survived by his loving wife Roseann, daughters Renee Jensen (Kris) of Crystal, Minnesota and Erika Krob (Will) of Oviedo, Florida, son Chet Masteller (Lora) of Chanhassen, Minnesota, grandchildren Jocelyn, Trevor, Brenna, Andrew, Joshua and Ayden, and great-grandchildren Braeden and Aurora.
