Craig Slack

Craig Slack, 85, of Asbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at Complete Care at Brakeley Park in Lopatcong, New Jersey.

Born on March 13, 1940, Craig spent many years as a teacher at Basking Ridge High School. He was deeply dedicated to his students and took genuine satisfaction in guiding young people as they learned and developed.

In his younger years, Craig loved attending his children’s sporting events, where he could be found cheering proudly from the sidelines. He treasured quiet time with his family and found special comfort in the companionship of his beloved dog.

He is survived by his children, Kelley Smallberger and her husband Ray, Terrence Slack and his wife Leigh-Anne, Travis Slack and his wife Cristina, and Cody Slack, as well as three grandchildren—Leila and Aaron, children of Terrence, and Reagan, daughter of Travis—who brought him great joy.
