Craig Lynn Dawes, 66, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2026. Born on April 7, 1959, in Sandusky, Ohio, he was the son of the late Linwood L. and Hazel L. (Eicher) Dawes.
A graduate of Sandusky High School in 1977, Craig worked for many years at Ventra in Sandusky. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandsons and listening to music.
Craig is survived by his sons, Joshua Dawes and Jeremiah Dawes; grandsons, Joshua and Kingston; sister, Sharleen (Steve) Howard; brother, Reed (Chris) Dawes; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Lee Dawes.
