Craig Lyle Myers of Fremont, Michigan, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on August 10, 1957, in Fremont, Craig proudly called the town home his entire life. He served his country in the United States Navy before attending Tri-State University, where he continued to develop the knowledge and skills that defined much of his life.
Craig was known for his intelligence, talent, and strong work ethic. He was generous with his time and expertise, and he found joy in boating and fishing, playing guitar, listening to music, working on cars, and fixing things with his hands. Above all, he cherished his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. Protective, supportive, and endlessly proud, he poured his heart into his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cyndee; his daughters, Cassandra (Ben) Johnson and Samantha (Jeff) Sheppard; and his beloved grandchildren, Ruby and Vera Johnson, and Simone and Abram Sheppard. Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle “Buck” Myers and Helen J. Myers.
After a long and difficult battle with cancer, Craig faced his illness with remarkable strength, resilience, and determination, always keeping his focus on those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of knowledge, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family. To those closest to him, he will be remembered as the one who could solve any problem, repair what was broken, and be there whenever someone needed him. The love and strength he gave will continue to guide his family for the rest of their lives.
