He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeCleene and Dori DeCleene (Anderson); his father-in-law Roger Matelski; and his grandparents, Harvey, Laura Glime, Clifford and Margaret Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle; his children, Nelson DeCleene (Racheal), Hayden DeCleene (Sammy Alger-Feser), Isabella Walgurski (Matt), Gavin DeCleene and Gabrielle DeCleene (TJ Shaw); his grandchildren, Adalynn, Lydia DeCleene and Walgurski; his siblings, Julie Giese (Dave), Mike DeCleene and Mark Decleene (Susan); his mother-in-law Jane Matelski; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Matelski, Renee Isenhart, Chris Matelski (Lisa), Carissa Mueller (Jon) and Bridget Wotruba (Jack). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A wake will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Parish Wake Service (186 E Pulaski St, Pulaski, WI 54162). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Willebrord Church (209 S Adams St, Green Bay, WI 54301).
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, monetary donations will be used to support local families in need of in-home care for Alzheimer's, with all contributions being paid forward to those in the community.
