He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane VanDeburgh of Elmwood, Oklahoma, and Scott VanDeburgh; his siblings, Tami Hernandez, Douglas VanDeburgh, and Steven VanDeburgh; his uncles, David Reiswig, Gary Reiswig, Charles Lightfoot (Chuck), and Dewey VanDeburgh; his aunt, Kay Reiswig; and his cousin, Caitlyn McOsker.

Craig is survived by his wife, Julie; his children, Andrew VanDeburgh (Jessilyn) of Arlington, Virginia, Garrett VanDeburgh, and Britnie Nibarger (Cody) of Waukomis, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Tate and Maelee Nibarger of Waukomis, Oklahoma; his aunt, Emma Lou Lightfoot of Alva, Oklahoma; and his nieces and nephews, Danny Hernandez (Erica) of San Antonio, Texas, Joshua VanDeburgh of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Gentle VanDeburgh of Oklahoma City, and Leah Williams (Jason) of Amarillo.
