Costanzo Antonellis

Costanzo “Chris” Antonellis, of Medford, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 77. Born and raised in San Donato, Italy, he was the cherished son of the late Giuseppe and Anna (Cugini) Antonellis.

A true gentleman, Chris was thoughtful, kind, and considerate. Family was his greatest pride and joy. He cherished every moment spent with his children and especially adored his grandchildren, Giulia, Derek, and Dante, who were the center of his world. When not with his loved ones, he could often be found at a local Italian café sharing coffee with friends, tending his garden, or generously sharing his homegrown tomatoes, figs, and vegetables with neighbors. He looked forward each year to returning to Italy to visit extended family and friends. An avid soccer player, he also coached in the City of Medford for many years.

Chris was the devoted husband of 54 years to the late Anna (DiCenso) Antonellis. He was the beloved father of Rick Antonellis and his companion Lauryn of Boston, and Jessica Paparo and her husband Derek of Medford. He was the loving Nonno of Giulia Fabrizio, Derek Paparo, and Dante Paparo, all of Medford. He was the dear brother of Larry Antonellis and his wife Judy, and the late Cesidia Bennington and her surviving husband Mike. He was also the caring brother-in-law of the late Jimmy DiCenso and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
