Corey James Allen

Corey James Allen, beloved son of Merilyn and Vince Allen, passed away suddenly on March 6, 2026, at the age of 40.

From a young age, Corey found joy in music. He played the cello in the orchestras at Cocopah Middle School and Chaparral High School, developing a wide-ranging appreciation that moved easily from Bach to Bob Dylan. At home, he often picked up his guitar to play along with his favorite bands. After graduating from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Business Administration, he nurtured a deep love for the outdoors, spending cherished time at California beaches and in the mountains of Pinetop, Arizona. He was his father’s constant fishing companion and shared many happy hours with his mother going to the movies and shopping together.

Corey remained a devoted sports fan throughout his life, loyally following the New York Mets, the New York Giants, the Arizona Diamondbacks, and college athletics of all kinds. His warm smile and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Merilyn and Vince, along with family members and friends who will carry him forever in their hearts and memories.
