Cora Jean Flowers Acton, 92, of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Born in Cabell, Kentucky on December 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Vesta Ramsey Perdue.
Cora worked in quality control for Sylvania and was a longtime member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She was known for her quiet strength, dedication to her family, and steady presence in the lives of those she loved.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Flowers, and her stepdaughter, Nona Nave. In addition to her parents, Cora was preceded in death by her husbands, George William Flowers and Stephen Acton, and her son, Barry Flowers.
