She was born in North Carolina in 1945 to her parents Delmer and Elizabeth Tetterton. Cora married Phillip Tomlinson in 1960 in Ft. Myers. Cora raised her three children in Ft. Myers where she was a member of McGregor Baptist Church. She worked for the Lee County School Board for many years and retired in 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and Lorie and Walter Tomlinson.She is survived by her daughter Avis (Butch) Bauer of Ft. Myers, her beloved grandson Jonathan Bauer of Ft. Myers, four siblings: Katie Williams and Betty Cox of NC, Ada Barry of Ft. Myers, and Estelle Browder of Sarasota.Graveside services will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Alva Cemetery.
