Faye was born September 17, 1937 in Washington, D.C. to the late John and Alma Sutler. She married her sweetheart Robert O. Hundley, Jr., in December, 1956 and lived in Northern Virginia for many years until the passing of Bobby. Faye then relocated to Virginia Beach to be closer to her family and grandson. She was a homemaker for many years raising her four children, while volunteering at school, church, girl scouts and attending many softball and soccer games. Later she had a successful career enjoying positions with Mitre, IBM and the Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation. She was a vivacious woman and "Queen Mum" for her own Red Hat chapter the "Beach Biddies". She enjoyed travelling, antiquing, gardening, Elvis, the Washington Redskins and a great joke. Faye ("Meme") especially adored spending time with her five grandsons.She is survived by daughters Terri (Jeremiah), Tammi, Tracey, and son Michael (Carolyn) along with her five cherished grandsons Patrick, John Q., Matthew (Jennifer), Owen and Hayden.Faye is predeceased by her husband Robert, sister Ann, as well as both parents and dear friend Janice.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
