Consuella Edwina Sepulveda

Consuella E. Sepulveda, known affectionately as Connie, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 91 in Poinciana, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 17, 1934, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John L. Hopkins Jr. and Novella Hopkins. She grew up in Chester, Pennsylvania, graduated from Radnor High School in 1954, and went on to earn a degree in Nursing from Cheyney University.

Connie devoted herself to her family with unwavering love, strength, and guidance. She married Leroy J. Johnson, and together they raised five children: Thomas J. Johnson, Ruth Anne Johnson, Dwight W. Johnson, Steven P. Johnson, and Lynda S. Johnson. Later in life she moved to Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania, where she happily married Ramon Sepulveda, who preceded her in death in 2002. She also became a surrogate mother to Michael T. Miller and was lovingly reunited with her dearest companion, Jose L. Medina, helping to raise his daughter Briana. A passionate nurse, she also found great joy in freehand painting, sewing, crafting, and photography. Known for her warm smile and her ability to befriend everyone she met, her favorite saying was simply, “Just smile.”

She was preceded in death by her husband Ramon Sepulveda, her children Thomas J. Johnson, Ruth Anne Johnson, and Dwight W. Johnson, and her grandson Michael L. Johnson. Connie is survived by her son Steven P. Johnson and daughter-in-law Marie S. Johnson, her daughter Lynda S. Thompson, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory. A memorial will be held in Bristol, Pennsylvania.
