Constante Baniaga Sr., 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on March 7, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, to Andres Baniaga and Francisca Baniaga (Dagdagan), Constante attended Nambaran Elementary School and graduated from Bacarra National Comprehensive High School. He later studied at the Philippine Maritime Institute College in Manila before devoting himself to raising his children and building his career.

He moved to Hawaii, where he started a family, and eventually settled in Indianapolis. A dedicated screen printer for more than 40 years, Constante was known for his strong work ethic and his deep commitment to providing for his loved ones. He carried the pride of his Filipino heritage throughout his life and was a man of discipline, responsibility, and unwavering values. In his quieter moments, he found joy in bike rides and tending to his plants with great care.

Constante was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished time with his family. He is survived by his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Bridgett Baniaga; his children, Denia Baniaga (Laquana Green), Constante Baniaga Jr. (Sarah Noblitt), Christopher Baniaga Sr. (Jaila Baniaga), and Joshua Baniaga; his grandchildren, Constance Baniaga, Javien Harvey, Christopher Baniaga Jr., Davon Baniaga, Kailani Baniaga, and Sincere Baniaga; his siblings, Rafael Baniaga (Jovita), Rosario Baniaga (Ana Lisa), Carmelita Lapitan (Rey), and Lorna Baniaga-Lee (Ivan); and his beloved dog, Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Francisca Baniaga, and his brother, Moises Baniaga Sr. (Aurora).

He will be remembered for his steadfast dedication to his work, his love for his family, and the strong legacy he leaves behind in his children and grandchildren.
