Constance "Connie" Romstadt

Connie Romstadt, born July 21, 1952, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and the memories she cherished throughout her life.

Connie shared a devoted marriage with the love of her life, Dan Romstadt. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and the joy of spending time with those who meant the most to them.

She is lovingly survived by her two sons, Robert Rice (Stacey) and William Rice. Connie was a proud and caring grandmother to Kylie Rice (Corey), Britani Rice, and Austin Rice, and she was overjoyed to also be a great-grandmother to Piper and Ronin and Piper's father Chaz Sharp.

She is also survived by her brothers, Michael LaCourse (Sandy) and Lyle LaCourse, and her sister, Victoria Friend, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember her kindness and warmth.

Connie deeply loved being surrounded by her family. Some of her happiest moments were the simple times spent together—sharing laughter, stories, and creating memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her caring spirit, and the lasting memories she created with those closest to her. Connie’s legacy lives on through the family she cherished so deeply.

Preceded in death by her parents Nancy Toth (Soncrant) and Lyle LaCourse, brothers Ronald LaCourse, Keith LaCourse, sister Debbie Rice and nephew Michael LaCourse Jr.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 10-12:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
