She was born on February 22, 1956, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late M.C. and Betty Morgan.Connie was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family fiercely. Time spent with her loved ones brought her the greatest joy, and her contagious smile and zest for life brightened every room she entered. A homemaker and talented seamstress, Connie found great joy in crafting and creating thoughtful gifts for others, especially during her retirement years.Her heart was exceptionally caring and generous, always ready to give, to help, and to encourage. Warm, outgoing, and full of spirit, Connie radiated kindness wherever she went. She will be remembered for her perseverance, determination, and unwavering drive. Despite tremendous physical challenges throughout her life, she built a beautiful family, pursued a meaningful career, and lived a life dedicated to serving others.Connie's deep love for the Lord shaped every part of her life. She shared the love of Jesus freely and joyfully whenever the opportunity arose. A faithful member of Christ Gospel Church for more than 50 years, Connie served with great joy as the young children's church teacher in the Jacinto, Mississippi congregation for many years, leaving a lasting legacy of sharing God's love and His Word with countless children. In recent years, she was an integral member of the Christ Gospel Church Pillars community in Jeffersonville, Indiana.To those who loved her most, she was affectionately known as Mom, Grandma Connie, Mama Huguley, and Sparkles, names that reflect the joy, warmth, and love she poured into the lives around her.Connie is survived by her loving children, Crystal Huguley Goebel, Larry W. Huguley (Sakie), and Chad Huguley (Heather); her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Huguley, Hannah Huguley, Josiah Huguley, Jacob Watts, Chandler Watts (Kayla), Lillian Conway (Cameron), and Will Goebel; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Watts, Liam Watts, Sylvia Conway, and Vivian Conwan. She is also survived by her siblings, Milton Morgan (Diane) and Carolyn Chase, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her siblings, Glenda Lytal, Danny Morgan, and Tommy Morgan.Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where friends and family can gather an hour prior to her funeral.A family viewing and interment will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Christ Gospel Church in Jacinto, Mississippi, where Connie will be laid to rest.Pallbearers will be Larry W. Huguley, Chad Huguley, Jacob Watts, Chandler Watts, Caleb Huguley, and Cameron Conway. Honorary pallbearers will be Josiah Huguley and Liam Watts.Connie's legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering love will live on in the countless lives she touched.
