Connie Lou Miller
January 28, 1938 – March 15, 2026
Connie Lou Miller, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on January 28, 1938, in West Virginia, Connie carried her strong roots and values with her throughout her life. She later made her home in Ellet, Ohio, where she and her husband, Roger Kent Miller, lovingly raised their family.
Connie worked for many years at Lawson’s convenience store, where she was known for her kindness and strong work ethic. She was funny, feisty, and tough—never afraid to speak her mind and always full of love for those around her.
She found joy in cooking and took pride in canning vegetables from her garden. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of family traditions. Connie also had a giving heart and volunteered with the Salvation Army, where she was involved in prison ministry, offering compassion and support to others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Kent Miller; daughters, Carol Ann Miller and Charlotte Evans; grandchildren, Katherine Ross and Austin Cole; her parents, Louis and Ora Snyder; and her siblings, Thomas Snyder, Kenneth Snyder, and Elmo Snyder.
She is sadly missed by her children, Roger Miller Jr. (Shelley), Karen Cole, Darlene Miller, and Pam (Brian) Ross; her grandchildren, Nita, Ronnie, Cheryl, Chrissy, Josh, Danielle, Rachel, Nick, Joey, Zack, Abby, and Tanner; many great-grandchildren; her sisters, Shirley, Nancy, and Naomi; and an abundance of other family and friends.
Connie’s life was a testament to strength, resilience, and deep love for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
Visitation will be from Friday, March 20th, from 5:00-6:30pm and a funeral service will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Connie’s name to the Children’s Tumor Foundation to support research for Neurofibromatosis.
