Connie Belanger

Connie Belanger, 87, of Frenchville, peacefully entered into Eternal Life on March 11, 2026, at a Frenchville healthcare facility. She was born February 24, 1939, in Wallagrass, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Bertha (Ouellette) Pinette.

A devoted wife and mother, Connie took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for her husband and children. She found joy in cooking, ensuring no one ever left her kitchen hungry. She was especially proud to be known as “Memere” to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives she touched deeply. Her love and presence will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 70 years, Claude Belanger of Frenchville; five children, Rodney Belanger and his wife Gail of Bangor, Peggy Jarrett and her husband Joe of Fort Kent, Amy Blier and her husband Gil of Wallagrass, Shirley Cote and her husband Jason of Connecticut, and Greg Belanger and his wife Robin of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Rodney Belanger Jr., Nikki Lucas, Hannah Zetterman, and Drew Blier; many great-grandchildren; two siblings, Virginia Daigle of New York and Danny Pinette and his wife Susan of Soldier Pond; a sister-in-law, Charlene Pinette of Wallagrass; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by a brother, Ashley Pinette.
