Concepcion Amelia Melendez

Concepcion Valdez Melendez, 84, passed away on March 10, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She lived a long and meaningful life centered on faith, family, and quiet kindness. Known for her warm heart and gentle wisdom, Concepcion had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Whether sharing meals around the family table, recounting stories from years past, or offering soft words of encouragement, she created a home filled with love and laughter.

Her greatest joy was her family. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and friends. The memories she created with those she loved will be treasured always.

Concepcion is survived by her children, Rosalio Melendez, Iliaser Melendez, Leticia Mireles, Silvia Martinez, Fernando Melendez, Manuel Melendez, and Anthony Mireles; her brother, Amando Valdez; and her sisters, Dolores Olivas and Eva Urias. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Melendez, and her son, Miguel Melendez.
