Collin Lane Callaway

May 5, 1985 March 11, 2026

Colleyville, TX

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Collin Lane Callaway, who passed away on March 11, 2026, in Dallas, Texas at Medical City, at the age of 40. Collin was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Collin was born on May 5, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Curtis and Dawn Callaway. He grew up in Colleyville, Texas, a place that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He later built his life there with his beloved wife, Morgan, and their two daughters, Camdyn and Chanlee, where they created a home full of love, laughter, and memories.

Collin attended L.D. Bell High School and later Texas Tech University. He went on to build a career in the medical industry before later working with AAA Texas Headquarters, where he had the unique joy of working alongside some of his friends - something that meant so much to him.

Collin will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and the steady, loyal presence he was to so many. He had a gift for making people feel comfortable, for bringing laughter into a room, and for showing up when it mattered most. He loved spending time with his family, making memories with his girls, and being surrounded by the people he loved most. He especially loved playing golf with family and friends, a pastime that brought him joy and connection throughout his life.

Above all, Collin cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Morgan Callaway; his daughters, Camdyn and Chanlee; his parents, Curtis and Dawn Callaway; his brother, Conner Callaway, and Conner’s wife, Kristen, along with their daughters, McKinley and Hallie Ray.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Pat Summers; his aunts and uncles: Darren Callaway Sr. and his wife Sharon, Kent Callaway and his wife D’ann, Jim Duvall and his wife Michele, Stacy Morgan and her husband Jeff, Tyrene Callaway, and Kevin Jones and his wife Traci.

He is further survived by his cousins: DJ Callaway and his wife Courtney and their children, Charley and Tripp; Jordan Callaway; Taylor Callaway; Courtney Ball and her husband Johnathan and their children, Addilyn and Austin; Brenden Callaway; Ryan Jones and his wife Mallory and their children, Emerson and Elliott; Dustin Duvall and his wife Shelby and their daughter, Addy; Shawn Duvall and his wife Kristyn and their children, Kash and Dakota; Cameron Duvall and his wife Avery and their children, Skylar and Jack; Casey Mayfield and her husband Barrett and their children, Will and Bowen; Hanna Josserand; Jared Josserand; and Allyson Morris and her husband Ryan and their children, Maddox, Hudson, and Benjamin.

Collin is also survived by his extended family through Morgan: his sisters-in-law Taylor Baptista; Allison Kohtz and her husband David and their daughters, Caroline and Keilyn; Alex Tucker and her husband Braxton; and his brother-in-law Stewart Ericson and his wife Lucy and their daughters, Anna Rose and Madi.

He is also survived by the family dog, Bear, along with numerous other extended family and dear friends who will carry his memory forward.

Collin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim Callaway, Peggy Callaway, Jack Duvall, Ginger Duvall, and Charlie Summers; his aunt, Vicki Duvall Jones; his uncles, Mark Callaway and Bill Josserand; and his father-in-law, Lee Ericson.

Collin’s presence brought light, laughter, and strength into the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

"Those we love don't go away,

They walk beside us every day.

Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
