Colette L. Kaye

Colette L. Kaye, born on February 28, 1962, in Clark County, Ohio, passed away on March 12, 2026, in Medway, Ohio. She was a woman of exceptional kindness and warmth whose caring nature touched everyone around her. Thoughtful and attentive, Colette had a remarkable ability to anticipate the needs of others and consistently showed compassion through her actions.

She graduated from Tecumseh High School and later attended Wright State University, where she continued to nurture her love of learning. This foundation guided her throughout her life. Colette also found great joy as a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State University Buckeyes, bringing the same enthusiasm and dedication to her support of her favorite teams as she did to all aspects of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Kay Kaye, and her sisters, Karen Kaye and Marcella Kaye. Colette is survived by her fiancé, Michael Lakes, her aunts Shirley Winger and Marian Patinski (Rob), cousins Mark and John, and many other family members and loved ones who will cherish the love and light she brought into their lives. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her unwavering care for others, and the quiet strength of her spirit.
