Preserve forever →Coleman Ryan Beck
September 7, 2002— March 9, 2026
Lehi, UT
Coleman Ryan Beck, 23, of Lehi, Utah, passed away on March 9, 2026. He was born on September 7, 2002, in American Fork, Utah, to Nichole (Fox) Beck and Ryan Beck. Coleman will be remembered for his discipline, big heart, and his deep love for his family.
He was attending Utah Valley University, where he studied Psychology. His thirst for knowledge reached far beyond the classroom into nutrition, fitness, reptiles, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, and the Denver Broncos. Most recently he could be found driving his big gray Amazon truck, proudly declaring himself the biggest, fastest, and strongest Amazon driver. From a young age Coleman was a passionate collector, especially of Legos, which he kept meticulously organized. He loved attending Broncos games with friends and family, earned his Eagle Scout award through the Boy Scouts, and shared a special bond with animals. He cherished trips to the reptile expo with his mother and brother Cameron, adored his dog Foxy, and was responsible for naming the family’s new puppy Yoda.
Sports remained a constant thread throughout his life. He inherited a love for BYU athletics and enjoyed attending games with his family. He played baseball, basketball, and ran track, but devoted himself most fully to football, taking great pride in his Falcon Brotherhood at Skyridge High School. In recent years he channeled his discipline into bodybuilding, competing in his first competition last October. A devoted follower of Arnold Schwarzenegger, he lived by the quote, “You can have results or excuses, not both.”
Coleman served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Austin, Texas, from July 2021 to July 2023, where he grew in his love for Jesus and developed an appreciation for Texas barbecue. Known for his unfiltered humor, goofy faces, and voices, he brought laughter to every room. He formed close friendships at every stage of life, including his BCB boys with whom he graduated in 2021, and he looked forward each summer to boating on Lake Powell with his cousins.
Coleman was preceded in death by his grandmother, his Uncle D, and his beloved dog Foxy. He is survived by his parents, Nichole and Ryan Beck; his sister Raegan Beck McKell and her husband Tyler; his brother Cameron Beck and his fiancée Kamryn Cotterell; and his sister Eden Beck. He also leaves behind many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Coleman’s humor, determination, and loyalty to those he loved will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
