Cody Alan Reilly, age 44, of Iroquois, South Dakota, passed away on March 12, 2026, surrounded by his family after bravely fighting a battle with cancer.

His funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday March 20, at Bethesda Church, Huron. Burial will follow in the Bethesda Section of Ideal Cemetery.

Visitation with family present will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 19, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. A time of sharing will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday evening.

Cody Alan Reilly was born on August 26, 1981, in Huron, South Dakota, to Dean and Carla (Glanzer) Reilly.

Cody grew up in Iroquois and graduated from Iroquois High School in 2001. After high school, he took a year off before attending WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming, where he graduated in 2003 with a diesel mechanic degree. Cody had a strong work ethic and a passion for working with equipment and machinery. He worked as a parts salesperson at Kibble Equipment in Huron, where he built many friendships and was respected by coworkers and customers alike.

Cody was known for his willingness to help others and for the many friendships he formed throughout his life. He fought a good fight against cancer with strength and courage, and he touched the lives of many along the way. He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor.

Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Dean and Carla Reilly; his sister, Becky (Mike) Harris; his nephews and nieces, Deion, Chenoa, Gunnar and Skyla Harris; his great-niece, Kora; and his grandmother, Adaline Reilly. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilson and Norma Glanzer, Richard Reilly; and an uncle, Tony Anderson.
