Clyde Russell Haycock, age 86, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 6, 1939, in Spring Glen, Utah, to Jess and Ruth Mollard Haycock, Clyde was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Karen Riggs, in the Logan Utah Temple. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965, including time in Tripoli, Libya, an experience that left a lasting impact on him. After his military service, he worked for Hercules and later dedicated 38 years at Hill Air Force Base in the Aircraft Division.
Clyde found his greatest joy in the company of his family. He loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours motorcycling, hunting, fishing, and camping, always most content when surrounded by those he cherished.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Riggs Haycock; his sons, Brett (Gwen) Haycock, Blake (MaryEllen) Haycock, and Trevor Haycock; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. The family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care provided by Jaylynn and Brooke from Hospice Services.
