He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Howard Willis Sr. and Mary Pauline Merrill Willis; and his sister Bettina Dare Gilchrist of Beaufort. He is survived by: his wife Pam Partin Willis; his children, Tiffany Willis Styron (James Michael Styron Jr.) and Michael McCallister Styron; his sister Beverly Joy Willis Daniel; his son Howard Phillip Finch; and his stepdaughters, Heather Fuquay and Katie Fuquay. He is also survived by his nephews & nieces, and step-granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Smyrna United Methodist Church (136 Marshallberg Rd, Smyrna, NC 28553).
