With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clint Byron Simmons of Clanton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2026 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Yawn and James Alvin Simmons; and his brother Roger Neal Simmons. He is survived by: his daughter Megan Burnett (Nick); his girlfriend Belinda Ann Simmons; his stepsons, Darryl Wayne Sims, II (Wanda Gail) and Joshua Winfield Cornell (Angela); his siblings, Jimmy Allen Simmons, Donald Jackson, Billy Wayne Simmons, Daniel Keith "Danny" Simmons, Kirk Jackson (Traci), Teresa Donovan (John), Dianne Tannell Simmons and Tammy Lola Crosby; his grandchildren, Colt Burnett, Natalie Burnett, Cole Sims, Lexi Sims, Kaidance Sims, Hannah Cornell, Macie Cornell and Liam Willis; and his great grandchild Raelyn Jade Sims (Wayne Barron).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
