Clint Buttery, 53, of Dubois, passed away at his home on March 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 17, 1973, to Ray and Judy Buttery, Clint married Tess Jones on September 27, 1997, and she survives him.
He worked for many years at Reynolds, as well as for Dubois County Water Utilities and the Dubois County Highway Department. Most recently he was employed at Kimball Recycling in Jasper. For a time he owned and operated After Hours Excavating. Clint found joy in working in his garage, camping with his family, truck pulling, supporting his daughters in their 4-H activities, and caring for the family’s cats and dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Tess Buttery; his mother, Judy Buttery Wilder; and his daughters, Amber Buttery and Madie Buttery. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his longtime friend, Scott Daugherty. Clint was preceded in death by his father, Ray Buttery.
