Cliifton "Cliff" Davis

Clifton (Cliff) Davis, 65, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Cisne Rehab and Healthcare.

Born on August 1, 1960, in Chester, Maine, to Edwin Davis Sr. and Mary J. (Audibert) Davis, Cliff spent his working years at North American Lighting in Flora, Illinois, while also operating his own Davis Tree Service in Cisne. Known for his compassionate nature, he would often rescue injured or orphaned wildlife while working—hawks, raccoons, doves, squirrels, and other creatures—and nurse them back to health in a special room he had created in his home. He was equally generous with his time and skills, always ready to lend a hand to friends or anyone in need.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Vicky; his brothers, Keith Davis of Paxton, Illinois, and Edwin (Chuck) Davis of Chester, Maine; three stepsons, one stepdaughter, and four step-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janet Davis.
