Clifford R. Donahue

April 5, 1935 March 11, 2026

Kingston, NH

Clifford R. Donahue, affectionately known as Cliff, passed away peacefully at his home in Kingston, New Hampshire, on March 11, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on April 5, 1935, he was the only child of the late John Clifford Donahue and Eunice (Mitchell) Marques. Raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, Cliff proudly served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959. Stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, he completed two tours in the Mediterranean and was honorably discharged with the rank of Yeoman Third Class.

While home on leave in 1957, Cliff met the love of his life, Adele Amirault. They remained devoted through his years of service and married on January 14, 1961. That same year, they built their family home in Kingston, where they raised their four sons and where Cliff lived for the rest of his life.

Cliff worked for more than 50 years as a parts manager at several local Ford dealerships, retiring from Portsmouth Ford. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and loyalty. A lifelong Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he continued riding with great joy well into his later years, completing the riding season with 15,000 miles on his motorcycle at the age of 90. His granddaughter Amelia brought him special happiness in his final years.

He is survived by his devoted wife of more than 65 years, Adele Donahue; his sons Gary Donahue and companion Terri of Port Richey, Florida, Scott Donahue, Russell Donahue and his wife Leilani of Barrington, New Hampshire, and Mitchell Donahue and his wife Laurie Mantegari of Hampton, New Hampshire, along with his grandchildren who will cherish his memory.
