He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Martin and Earsy Ferguson; and his wife Becky Martin. He is survived by: his son Jim Martin (Kim); his grandchildren, Connor Martin and Alissa Martin (Erik Price); and his brother Clinton Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
