Cleveland Earl Moore Jr.

Cleveland Earl Moore Jr.

Cleveland Earl Moore Jr., affectionately known as Jr., Pa, Hammer, Slim, and Road Dog, was born on February 6, 1941, to Mildred Moore and Cleveland Moore Sr. in Perry County. He passed peacefully on March 7, 2026.

Those who knew and loved him understood that he preferred no formal service. Instead, he chose to return to the dust from which the Lord formed him. In honor of his memory, he simply asked that others listen to a song that brings them peace or share a drink or meal that brings them comfort.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shari; two sons, Wendell Moore and Michael Moore (AnnMarie); and one daughter, Candace Mulligan (Christopher), along with a host of many relatives and dear friends. The family extends special thanks to SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice for their compassionate care, as well as to his brothers in love, George Green, Jeffery Jemison, Lucious Colley, and Michael Samuel, and his devoted caregiver, Mark Hayes.
