Ottersbach, 91, of Louisville, passed away Friday March 13, 2026.He was an Army veteran, machinist, and painter, where he worked closely with two of his brothers for a long time. Cletus grew up in a large close-knit family and was Catholic by faith. He enjoyed spending time at the casino and Churchill Downs or as he would say his "office". He was very handy and could build or work on anything. His sense of humor was one of his greatest qualities as he always enjoyed joking around with family. Cletus loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending all their activities over the years.He was preceded in death by his son, David Ottersbach; parents, Mary Magdalen (Hohmann) and Jacob John Ottersbach; six brothers; and three sisters.He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sue Carol (Morgan) Ottersbach; son, John Ottersbach (Stephanie); and grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Sarah, and Sam Ottersbach.His funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery.
