Cleo Delores Austin

Cleo Delores Austin, 79, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Oro Valley, Arizona. Born on September 2, 1946, in Madelia, Minnesota, to Clarence and Delores Splinter, she lived a life marked by quiet generosity and genuine care for others.

Cleo will be remembered for her generous heart, her deep love of books, and her beautiful singing voice. She had a gift for bringing warmth and kindness to those around her, offering comfort through her steady presence and compassionate spirit.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Austin; her daughter, Katie Lienert; her sister, Amy Haynes; and her brother, Dale Splinter. She is also survived by John Lienert, the father of her daughter Katie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Delores Splinter.

Cleo will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
