Cleo Ann Horvath

Cleo Ann (Rogers) Horvath, Waverly, NY was born December 23, 1945, and predeceased by her parents Howard & Doyle Rogers & her sister, Rita Allen. Cleo passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 80 after a long battle with various health problems. Her early years were marked by the birth of her children, Tina (David) Lounsbury of Smithboro, NY & Jack (Stephanie) Collins of Binghamton, NY. In 1990 she married Michael, her high school sweetheart & love of her life and gained a step-son, William (Heather) Horvath of Panama City, FL. Cleo retired as an Executive Secretary from the Town of Owego, moved to Port Charlotte, Fl for the winters, enjoyed Cayuta Lake in Alpine, NY for summers, traveled the world with Mike & friends, loved sewing, making jewelry & a multitude of crafts shared with family, friends & strangers alike.

Cleo is survived by her husband of 36 years, 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Howard (Toni) Rogers of Williams, AZ, brother in law, James Allen of Port Charlotte, FL & Aunt Joyce Hinkson of Towanda, PA. Cleo will be deeply missed but as she believed “everything happens for a reason” & she is now home in Heaven.
