Clementina Alaniz

Clementina Alaniz, age 97, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. She was born on November 14, 1928, in Glen Allan, Mississippi.

Clementina lived a long and meaningful life centered around her family, friendships, and the simple joys that brought her happiness. She loved caring for her plants and spent many hours sewing, a craft she truly enjoyed. She cherished her many lifelong friendships and held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews. Clementina will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramiro Alaniz Sr., and her parents, Febronio Cardenas and Theodora Cardenas. She is survived by her five children, Lydia Morales, Ruben Alaniz, Ramiro Alaniz Jr., Irma Alaniz, and Esteban Alaniz, as well as one son-in-law, three daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren who will continue to cherish her memory.
