Clayton Dickerson

Clayton Dickerson, beloved husband of 76 years to the late Jean Dickerson (nee Dawson), passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 96.

A devoted family man, Clayton was the loving father of Merle (Connie) Dickerson and the late Clay Dickerson. He was the dear brother of the late Juanita Russell, Naomi Glore, Ralph Curtis Dickerson, Edmond Reese Dickerson, and Eldon Claude Dickerson. He cherished his role as grandfather to Tammy Logan, Tonya Sheppard, and Anthony Dickerson, and was blessed with numerous loving great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who brought him great joy throughout his long life.

Clayton lived a full and steadfast life, remembered for his quiet strength and deep commitment to his family. He leaves behind those who loved him, grateful for the many years they shared together.
