Clausy James Batiste III

Clausy James Batiste III, lovingly known as Klaus, was born on October 7, 1995, to Clausy James Batiste Jr. and Debra Ann Alexander. He passed away on March 8, 2026.

Klaus was known for his strong work ethic and dedication during his years working offshore. He took great pride in his work and earned the respect of those around him through his determination. Above all, he had a big heart and a deep love for his family. He cherished spending time with his nieces and nephew, making memories with them and becoming someone they could laugh with, look up to, and count on.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially sharing good meals with the people he cared about. One of his favorite places was Kevin’s Seafood, where he created many happy moments with family and friends. Klaus will be remembered for his loving spirit, hardworking nature, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him.

He is survived by his parents, Clausy James Batiste Jr. and Debra Ann Alexander; his siblings, Tiffany Alexander (Jonathan, Janay, Joy) and Joshua Batiste; along with his maternal and paternal aunts, uncles, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mary Ann Alexander and Glaston P. Brooks, his aunt Mary B. Alexander, his cousin Quincy Chevalier, his paternal grandparents Jeanette and Clausy Batiste Sr., and several uncles. Those who loved him will forever cherish his memory.
