Claudia L. Marshall

Claudia L. Marshall, 82, of the Town of Amsterdam, passed away on March 5, 2026, at the River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam following a brief illness.

She married Michael D. Marshall Sr. on September 8, 1962. He predeceased her on September 27, 2008. She was also predeceased by her beloved son, Mike Jr., on December 16, 2025.

Claudia was a devoted stay-at-home mother who placed her family above all else. Her family circle warmly included the many beloved pets she adopted and cared for throughout the years.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Marge Burda and Marilyn Civic; niece Dawn Shipley and her husband Scott, along with their children Alex, Geoff, and Caitlyn; nephew Brent Albers and his wife Tammy, and their children Ryan, Eric, Stephanie, Jeffrey, and Chelsea; niece Susan Sherwood and her husband Lynn; nephew John Trommer; and Shawn and Lori Bornt, as well as Michael and Lisa Spooner, who were cherished members of her adopted family.
