Claudetta "Irvin" Garlic

Claudetta Irvin Garlic, age 88, of North Stewart Road in Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday morning at her residence.

She was the devoted mother of Timothy Garlic and Vicki Zimmerman, both of Corbin, and Carla Burgess of Harlan, Kentucky. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Osborne of Corbin, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of loving relatives and friends.

Claudetta was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ellis Garlic; her parents, Chester and Susie Curry Irvin; five brothers, W.J. Irvin, Dewey Irvin, Hayes Irvin, Tom Irvin, and Billy Irvin; and two sisters, Loretta Whitehead and Inez Woods.

She will be remembered as a woman who cherished her family and the many lives she touched across the years.
