Claud Shea ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Miami on Mar. 6, 2026.Claud "Pat" Patrick Shea, 81, a longtime resident of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri. Pat was born on May 24, 1944, in Purcell, Oklahoma, to Everett "D Don" and Pauline (McLaughlin) Shea. After graduating high school, Pat proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Karen Sue Cox in Miami in 1986, together they would spend many wonderful years together until her passing in 2020. Pat worked many years as a plant manager at Bayliner until his retirement. After retirement he and his friends opened Grand Rental Station. When Pat wasn't working, he enjoyed hunting, raising and breeding horses, and spending time with his family. Especially his grandchildren whom we spoiled very much. Mr. Shea is preceded in passing by his wife, Karen Shea, his parents, Everett and Pauline Shea, and his siblings, Harold and Patsy.Those left to share the memory of Mr. Shea include his children, Kelly and his wife Mary, Bryan and his wife Amber, Tim and his wife Meridith, Brandy, Jeremy, and Mary and her husband Morgan. Grandchildren include Keegan, McKenzie, Austin, Bailey, Tynan, Taylor, Jordan, Jamie, Jadyn, Jakobe, Jacie, Morgan, Mylee, and Mayvis. Great Grandchildren include Finley, Logan, Jasper, and Ajax.There will be a visitation for Mr. Shea from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Burial will follow at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery in Miami.Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma.Friends and family may send the family notes of encouragement by viewing Mr. Shea's Tribute Page at www.brown-winters.com.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
