With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clarence Wayne Sackett of Rutherford, Tennessee, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 72. He is survived by: his mother Elsie Marie Wessell VanDyke; his wife Deborah Kilgore Sackett; his children, Matthew Sackett (Sarah), Gregory Sackett (Keisha) and Jeannie Hoffhine (Charles III); his sister Jeanette Fisher; his grandchildren, Courtney, Caitlin, Dylan, Nathaniel, Thomas, Jace and Cadence; and his great grandchild Haven Jean.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
