He was predeceased by: his parents, J. H. Reeves (Jake) and Mildred Davis Reeves; his wife Nieves; his great-niece Haley Bone; and his sister-in-law Diane Reeves.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Calhoun of Vina, Millie Reeves of Brunswick, Mildred and Rebecca Reeves of St. Simons Island, Georgia.; his siblings, Sue Rose (Wayne) of Seymour, Jo Evelyn Bone (David) of Ellaville, Georgia, Jerry Reeves (Susan) of Abbeville and Gary Reeves (Beth) of Americus, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Kayla Hasty, Brianna Creel, Adam Sandlin and Jake Palmer; and his siblings' children, Renee Moore (Rusty), Kelly Gailey (Kyle), Ginny Short (Brian), Chip Brewer, Jake Reeves (Ellen), Alan (Jan), Chad and Trent Bone (Shonya). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aldridge Funeral Services (612 Rees St, Americus, GA 31709). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (846 Lane Store Rd, Americus, GA 31709). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (120 Upper River Rd, Americus, GA 31709).
