Clarence Ray Ball

Clarence "Cowboy" Ray Ball was born on April 9, 1958, in Whitewright, Texas, to Clarice Stephen Ball and Oscar Lee Ball. He spent his entire life in Whitewright, where he attended Whitewright High School. Known for his outspoken nature, Cowboy always spoke his mind plainly, yet he did so with genuine love and care for those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Mary Ball and Betty Ball; his brother, Shedrick Ball; and his nephew, Tyrone Ball.

Clarence is survived by his daughter, Chauncey Ballard Ball of Sherman, Texas; his sisters, Sandra Thomas of Bells, Texas, and Brenda Ball of Sherman, Texas; his brothers, Raynard Ball and Datra Ball, both of Whitewright, Texas; his nephews, Anthony Ball of Sherman, Texas, Chris Ball and wife Debra, and Steve Ball and wife Rhonda, all of Whitewright, Texas; and his dear friends Tucker and his wife of Whitewright, Texas, and Marvin Arterberry of Whitewright, Texas. He also leaves behind many great-nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.
