Clarence C. Mitchell Jr.

With heavy hearts and deep love, we celebrate the life of Clarence C. Mitchell Jr., affectionately known as "Liddle June." Born on November 23, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, Clarence grew up in the Windsor Terrace community where he built lifelong friendships and memories. He later graduated from Linden McKinley High School, carrying pride in where he came from throughout his life.

Clarence was known for his sharp mind and dedication to his work. He retired from Chase Bank, where he worked as a fraud investigator. His career reflected his intelligence, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things the right way.

Outside of work, Clarence lived life with passion and style. Music was one of his greatest loves and he spent many years producing music as a personal passion. He also turned his love for fashion into a business with his hat store, Cap City Hats. Anyone who knew Clarence know that his hats made a statement. His style was unforgettable - many would say he had "A style to kill." He carried himself with confidence and authenticity, earning the respect of many as a certified OG. Clarence also loved cooking and bringing people together around good food. But more than anything, he loved his family deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents Connie Etter- Mitchell and Clarence Mitchell Sr., and his siblings Lilly Mae Wallace, Yvonne Peters, Taylor Clark, Lydia Mitchell, Rosie Mitchell, Cornelius Mitchell, and Gregory Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memory with his lifetime partner Eloise Alexander.

His legacy continues through his children Tammie Hughes, Angelo Alexander, Quanita Carswell, Andre Alexander, Wesley Holloway, Aaron Mitchell and Autumn Mitchell. He also lovingly helped raise Brooke Elliott, Jasmine Elliott (Desmond Nelson), and Daja Elliott, whom he loved as his own.

He is survived by his sister Cecelia Bush, along with many grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will forever remeber his wisdom, style, laughter, and love.

To his children, he was more than a father - he was our guide, our protector, and our example. His spirit and legacy will live on through all of us.
