Clara Elizabeth "Buckler" Morgan

1943 — 2026

Crestline, OH

Clara Elizabeth Morgan, 82, of Crestline, passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Crestline Nursing Home.

Born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, on April 12, 1943, to the late Roy and Bertha (Kitchen) Buckler, Clara found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed fishing, playing board games, bowling, and trying her luck at bingo. She also liked shopping and going out to eat, especially at Red Lobster. A woman of faith, she cherished attending church and the fellowship it brought. Some of her most treasured traditions revolved around family, including taking her grandchildren to the movies every Friday, cooking Sunday morning breakfast, and making the annual trip to visit family in Olive Hill every Memorial Day.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Clara was married to the father of her children, William “Bill” Stake, who preceded her in death in 2002. She later found love again with Richard “Dick” Morgan, who passed in 2014.

Clara is survived by her children, Ron (Beth) Stake of Melbourne, Florida, Rob (Sue) Stake of Mansfield, Randy Stake of Crestline, and Regina Stake of Crestline; her siblings, Donald (Eileen) Buckler of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Norma (Ron) Giddings of Connersville, Indiana, Bonnie (Manuel) Bowling of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Shirley Janosik of Illinois, and Donna Webb of Olive Hill, Kentucky; grandchildren Valerie (Shavon) Gibson, Natalie (Tyler) Stake, Levi Tinch, Noah (Emily) Stake, Chris (Jessica) Stake, Brett Stake, and Tucker Stake; and great-grandchildren Kyrie, Darryon, Daylon, Charlotte, and Hopeleigh. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Marjorie Stacy, James Buckler, Kathleen Conn, Thelma Jarvis, Zelma Quillen, Edna Buckler, Roy Buckler, and Larry Buckler.
