Claire Hadley (Nee: Brisebois)

Claire Hadley (Nee: Brisebois)

Ste Anne, MB

Claire of Ste Anne, Manitoba, passed away on March 12, 2026. She had been bravely battling a chronic disease and did not recover from a recent surgical procedure.

Born at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Claire was raised on a farm in South Junction, Manitoba. She attended St. Joseph’s Academy as a teenager before entering nursing school at St. Boniface Hospital in her early twenties. She began her nursing career in Oshawa, Ontario, where she and her husband Bill welcomed their two children, Joanne and Billy, who remained her greatest joys. She later returned to Manitoba and built a long and meaningful career at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne.

Claire was predeceased by her parents, Adelard and Stella Brisebois, her brother and sister-in-law Charles and Loraine Brisebois, her sister Elise Hotrum, her brother-in-law Hap Hazzard, her niece Monique Brisebois, her nephew Jayden Gatzke, her grandson Zachary Jardine, and many friends and relatives from the Brisebois and Gagnon families.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Joanne Jardine (Mike Kelly) and Bill Hadley (Ginette), and her siblings Robert (Pat) Brisebois and Alice Hazzard. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Jessy (Brittney), Matthew (Cara), Rebecca (Travis) and Isabelle, and her great-grandchildren Mason, Scarlet, Lillie, Kayce, Connell, Kingston, Delilah, and Colt, along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Claire lived well, laughed often, and loved deeply.
