Clio, MI

Clair Langworthy Jr., of Clio, passed away at the age of 61 on March 12, 2026, at his home. Born on July 6, 1964, in Flint, Michigan, to Clair and Georgie Langworthy, he graduated from Clio High School in 1982. Clair spent his career as a heavy equipment operator and was known as a skilled jack of all trades who could fix nearly anything, especially tractors, which he enjoyed working on in his free time.

An avid outdoorsman, Clair found deep satisfaction in hunting and fishing, often sharing these pursuits with those closest to him. Yet his greatest joy came from his family, whom he loved fiercely and unconditionally.

He is survived by his children, Benjamin (Erin) Rooks and Ashley (Cris) DeYoung; his grandchildren, Parker DeYoung, EraLynn Rooks, Kole DeYoung, Kaylee Rooks, and Benjamin Ray Rooks Jr., who is on the way; his parents, Clair Langworthy Sr. and Georgie Langworthy (Paul Harding); his siblings, Terry (Darryl) Brown and Christy Langworthy (Kurt Gumerson); his nephews, Jordan (Mackenzie) Nowiski and Joshua Nowiski (April); his great-nephews, Orson and Keegan Nowiski; and his best friend, Carlos Quintanilla. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald (Olive) Langworthy and George (Edna) Willman.
