Cindy Roth

Philadelphia, PA

Cindy Roth, aged 68, passed away on March 8, 2026 after a five-year battle with frontotemporal degeneration. Born on September 10, 1957 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to parents Jean Stephenson and Roger Slade, she graduated from Bensalem High School. After marrying, she devoted herself to her role as a homemaker.

She was the steadfast center of her family, a woman whose endless laughter and quick wit brought joy to everyone around her. Cindy had a deep love for the ocean, reflected in her beach-themed home filled with collections of seashells and sea glass. She eagerly planned summer and fall beach house rentals for family vacations and weekend getaways, finding peace and comfort by the water.

To her sons Dennis and Billy, she was an unconditionally loving mother who took great pride in raising them. To her husband Bill, she was his devoted partner and better half, supporting him through every challenge of life. A natural caregiver, Cindy went above and beyond to help not only family but also friends in their times of need. She was a faithful member of Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, actively participating in Ladies Bible Studies, prayer groups, and Women’s ministry events. Her friends knew her as an avid reader, an eloquent speaker and writer who shared openly from her heart, and a loyal companion always ready to listen and pray for those who were hurting. Her “ladies group” will remember her as the organizer of their cherished Ocean City beach weekends, where she prepared crafts, games, and outings to Asbury Avenue.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill, and her son Billy. She was preceded in death by her son Dennis and her brother Roger.
