Cindy R. Snyder

Cindy Renee Snyder, age 68, of Halifax, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

Born on August 29, 1957, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Shirley (Troutman) Brown. A 1975 graduate of Halifax High School, Cindy worked as a clerk at the original Sheetz in Halifax and earlier at Leebro’s Shirt Factory in Lykens. She had a remarkable gift for remembering people and faces, even after a single meeting, and cherished conversations with others. Cindy loved spending time at the beach, creating crafts to give away, and hosting her annual three-day yard sale. Above all, she treasured the years she spent with her companion of 40 years, Dennis Webster, along with his children and grandchildren, her own family, and many dear friends.

She is survived by her companion, Dennis Webster of Halifax; sisters Tammy Watson (Larry) and Robin Brown (Robert Sheriff), both of Harrisburg; brother Robert C. Brown, II (Justine) of Lykens; uncle John Brown (Sandy) of Duncannon; and many stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sheryl A. Washington and granddaughter Cheyenne Bates.
