Cindy Linda McKinney

Cindy Linda McKinney, age 56, of Rochelle, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Emory Midtown Hospital.

Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, on October 8, 1969, to the late Willie McKinney Sr. and Eva Mae McKinney, Cindy lived a life full of warmth and simple joys. She loved dancing, listening to music, and cooking for others. Deeply devoted to her faith, she cherished her church family at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church and found happiness in being surrounded by the people she cared about.

She is survived by her son, Johnny (Maria) McKinney, three grandchildren, her sisters Margaret McKinney and Marie Driver, her brothers Jerry McKinney, Larry McKinney, Jimmy McKinney, and Roland McKinney, her special nephew Frazier McKinney, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jayla McKinney, and her brother, Willie McKinney Jr.
